The two types were numbered on different printing machines during the same period from 12 May, 1917 through to 1918. The number ranges were M 000001 B to M 1000000 B, M–C, M–D, M–E and M–F. The earlier range M–A, and the later ranges M–G to M–K had the bold type only.
